Truck2Venue marketplace rules
Truck2Venue works best when introductions, conversations and bookings stay organised in one place. That creates genuine reviews, verified history, easier repeat bookings and more confidence for everyone using the marketplace.
Introductions made through Truck2Venue
If a member discovers a venue, food truck or opportunity through Truck2Venue, we expect the initial approach and resulting booking to be recorded through Truck2Venue rather than deliberately using the marketplace solely to identify a business and bypass the platform.
Why bookings should stay recorded
Keeping the journey on Truck2Venue creates verified booking history, reviews, agreements, cancellation records and reliability information for both sides.
Opportunity follow-up
Truck2Venue may contact a venue or food truck to ask whether an advertised opportunity was filled and, where appropriate, whether the introduction came through Truck2Venue.
Possible action
We do not automatically suspend a member simply because two businesses communicated elsewhere. Where there is evidence of deliberate circumvention, we may issue a warning. Repeated or clear misuse may result in temporary or permanent suspension after the circumstances have been reviewed.
Protected contact details and photos
While browsing, members should use Truck2Venue messaging rather than profiles as a source of direct contact information. Website, telephone, email and social details may be withheld. Businesses are welcome to show their genuine branding and business name in photos. Images should not be used to advertise direct contact routes such as telephone numbers, website addresses, social-media handles or QR codes while the introduction is being made through Truck2Venue.
When contact details can be exchanged
Once both businesses have agreed to a booking, they are free to exchange the practical contact information needed to run the event. Truck2Venue still keeps the booking record so both sides can build verified history and reviews.
Payments
Any pitch fee, sales commission, minimum guarantee or other payment remains strictly between the venue and food truck. Truck2Venue records marketplace agreements but does not collect those payments or take a percentage.
