How Truck2Venue uses information to operate the business marketplace.
Who we are
Truck2Venue is a platform by Avenko Digital. The final launch version should state Avenko Digital's full legal entity name, postal address and privacy contact details.
Information we process
We may process account and contact information, business-profile information, photos, locations and trading radius, opportunities and availability, messages, bookings, reviews, referrals, notification preferences, membership/billing metadata and compliance documents submitted for verification.
Why we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts, operate matching and search, display business profiles, facilitate communications and bookings, verify documents, provide notifications, process memberships and visibility purchases, prevent abuse, maintain marketplace reputation and support users.
Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform our contract with an account holder, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the marketplace, or rely on consent where consent is the appropriate basis.
Service providers
Stripe handles payment and billing infrastructure. Cloudinary stores and delivers uploaded images and compliance files. Hosting/database and notification providers process information needed to run the platform. We should keep an internal processor list and update this notice if providers materially change.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms or safeguards should be used and documented.
Retention
Account and marketplace records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain verified booking/review history, meet legal/accounting requirements and protect the marketplace. A final retention schedule should set specific periods for closed accounts, messages, compliance documents and financial records.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Requests can be made through the Contact page.
Complaints
You can raise a privacy concern with Truck2Venue first. Individuals also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.
Automated matching and analytics
Truck2Venue may use location, availability, cuisine preferences and marketplace activity to rank or suggest relevant opportunities and businesses. We do not intend this matching to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Security
We use account authentication, restricted Admin access and third-party infrastructure controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security; members should protect passwords and report suspected account compromise promptly.
