Terms & Conditions

Launch-draft terms for the Truck2Venue business marketplace.

1. Business service

Truck2Venue is intended for venues, mobile caterers and other businesses acting for purposes connected with their trade or profession. Truck2Venue provides marketplace, communication, booking-record, reputation and business-management tools.

2. Marketplace role

Truck2Venue introduces businesses and helps them record arrangements. Avenko Digital / Truck2Venue is not the food trader, venue operator, employer, agent or guarantor of either business and is not a party to pitch fees, commission, minimum guarantees or other trading payments agreed between members.

3. Business information and compliance

Members must keep profile information, insurance, licences, hygiene information, certificates and availability reasonably accurate and current. Verification by Truck2Venue means that a submitted item has been reviewed; it is not a guarantee that a business remains legally compliant.

4. Bookings and cancellations

Businesses are responsible for checking dates, times, facilities, commercial terms and cancellation arrangements before confirming a booking. Booking agreements stored on Truck2Venue provide a record of what the parties entered or confirmed.

5. Membership

Truck2Venue Membership covers one business. Truck2Venue Multi covers up to three venues or up to three food trucks under one account. Prices, trial periods and billing frequency are shown before checkout. Membership renews according to the billing cycle until cancelled.

6. Membership cancellation

Where the account uses the standard Truck2Venue cancellation policy, at least one calendar month's notice is required and access continues until the scheduled end date shown in Membership & Billing. Admin may end access earlier for fraud, safety, serious misuse or where required to protect the marketplace.

7. Paid visibility

Urgent, Priority and Featured placements are optional one-off visibility purchases. Placement is limited by tier, target area and date. Payment buys the agreed display period, not a guarantee of enquiries, sales, bookings or ranking outside that placement.

8. Reviews and reliability

Reviews should reflect genuine marketplace activity. Truck2Venue may remove fraudulent, abusive or irrelevant content and may use completed bookings, cancellations and response behaviour to produce marketplace reliability information.

9. Acceptable use

Members must not misuse the service, impersonate another business, upload unlawful content, manipulate reviews, scrape protected account information, interfere with the platform or deliberately use Truck2Venue solely to obtain protected contact details and circumvent the marketplace.

10. Suspension and termination

Truck2Venue may request information, restrict visibility, suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, compliance, non-payment or serious/repeated breach of these terms or Marketplace Rules.

11. Availability of the service

We aim to keep Truck2Venue available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party outages and technical faults can occur. Stripe, Cloudinary and other service providers may process parts of the service under their own infrastructure terms.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, each business remains responsible for its own food, staff, vehicles, insurance, licences, premises, trading decisions and performance of bookings.

13. Changes

Material changes to membership pricing or these terms will be communicated through the service where reasonably practicable. Continued use after an effective date may be treated as acceptance where lawful.

14. Contact

Truck2Venue is a platform by Avenko Digital. Use the Contact page for account, billing, privacy or legal enquiries.

Legal review noteThis is a substantially expanded launch draft, not a solicitor's opinion. Before taking the service fully public, have a UK solicitor review the business identity details, cancellation wording, limitation-of-liability language and any sector-specific obligations.
